Barker Munro recruitment ltd are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Large Loss Injury Claims Handler to join our dynamic client. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact while managing catastrophic personal injury claims potentially exceeding £1 million.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proactively manage a caseload of complex catastrophic personal injury claims, including spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and limb amputations.

- Collaborate with departmental colleagues, external solicitors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and professional settlement of claims.

- Negotiate settlements that are fair and satisfactory for all parties involved.

- Analyse complex claim information and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation.

- Build strong relationships with reinsurers, panel solicitors, and other stakeholders.

Skills Required:

- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to handle large loss claims in excess of £500,000.

- Solictor or Insurer background.

- Analytical mindset for informed decision-making.

- A team player who can work independently with a proactive approach.
