Our client, a well-established professional services company, is currently recruiting a Junior Compliance Officer to join their Compliance team. The Junior Compliance Officer will be responsible for supporting the team in providing efficient and effective client due diligence (CDD), conflict checking services, client and matter file creation and associated administration of systems.
Key Responsibilities for the Junior Compliance Officer:
- Using file opening request systems and processes, ensuring full and accurate data is provided to complete the CDD process
- Obtaining, checking and verifying client CDD documentation, identifying issues, and escalating where required
- Completing and analysing conflict check reports
- Attendance at meetings and such training courses as agreed with Management
Skills Required for the Junior Compliance Officer:
- Effective administration and organisation skills, demonstrating a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Some knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations and the wider CDD requirements is desired but not essential
- A relevant degree is also desired
- Strong communication skills
