Our client has an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization based near Gatwick, to take the lead as their Technical Manager in Quality Assurance & Audits and who will be able to maintain and improve the quality management systems within the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working to BRC AA* standards at all times & collaborate with other departments
  • Responsible for ensuring that the site operates on an audit ready basis 24 hours
  • Develop a quality culture throughout the site
  • Continuous improvement
  • Maintain KPI's
  • Develop and maintain a robust auditing programme
  • The site lead for all audits and contact with FSA, EA, EHO, HSE and on-site OVS
  • Lead company’s Health & Safety Committee & Chair H&S Meetings

Key competencies:

  • Strong knowledge in Health & Safety legislation, good working practices as well as regulatory inspections/servicing compliance & audits with the Health & Safety at Work Act
  • Knowlege of HACCP, Level 3 Food Safety Legislation & Food Hygiene
  • Experience at managerial level within the food industry
  • Good technical skills & knowledge
  • Knowledge and an in-depth understanding of quality management, audit compliance, and BRC standards
