About the role:
Our client is seeking a highly organized Project Manager to manage multiple high-volume, low-value electrical connection projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of new up to 33kV connections across DNOs in The Southeast of England, ensuring customer deadlines are met.
- Manage project budgets and track costs, addressing any changes in the project scope.
- Set sub-contractors to work, monitor performance, and ensure quality and safety standards.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations throughout the project.
What we are looking for:
- 5/+ years in the electrical utility industry, ideally with project management experience at an ICP or IDNO. Applicants with experience in fibre, water, or gas utilities will also be considered.
- Must hold NRSWA, IOSH/SMSTS, and CSCS/EUSR certifications. Refresher training will be provided by the client if any certifications are near expiration to maintain competencies.
