Purchasing Administrator

Crawley, Office based (hybrid available)

A busy and varied opportunity has arisen for a proactive and capable Purchasing Administrator to join a well-established distribution company in Crawley

Reporting into the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for the following:

  • Liaising with suppliers and effectively negotiating competitive prices, lead times, terms and conditions etc
  • Regularly meeting with the Supply Chain Manager to discuss current situation and potential changes to improve position
  • Liaise with sales teams to understand potential issues and create action plans to solve them.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing and Technical departments to keep informed with industry changes and developments.

This role would suit someone with strong organisational and communication skills, as you will be liaising with many internal and external stakeholders. A commitment to delivering a first class service to customers is important, as is the ability to work accurately and methodically.
