Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier in the communications and control industry, due to their continued growth they are looking for a personable Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team in Crawley.
This is an exceptional opportunity to gain further experience within a fast-paced, thriving business environment while working closely with the Financial Controller.
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding customer service while managing key accounting tasks. If you thrive on building strong relationships and providing excellent accounting support, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle billing enquiries with professionalism and efficiency, providing exceptional customer support at every touchpoint.
  • Daily processing of sales invoices and ensuring timely, accurate preparation.
  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations and assist in managing petty cash and expenses.
  • Utilise Excel to run and maintain key financial spreadsheets for data analysis.
  • Manage phone calls and emails, acting as the first point of contact for the Accounts department.

The Candidate:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a sales/purchase ledger/bank reconciliations support role is essential.
  • Customer service experience is advantageous.
  • Confident in handling billing enquiries and ensuring smooth communication.
  • Proficient in Excel, with strong data analysis skills.

The Package:
  • Competitive salary of 26,000-28,000 DOE.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
  • 28 days holiday + birthday & bank holidays.
  • Hybrid working available after 3 months (3 days in the office, 2 days at home).
