Alexander Lloyd are delighted to be partnering with a dynamic and growing organisation, who are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our success while growing your career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounts activities, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and monthly management accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records, manage financial documentation, and support audit preparations.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve any financial queries or issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks), and excellent Excel skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in payroll desirable but not essential.
