Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant - Crawley

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Crawley. This full-time role offers the opportunity to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and help them achieve their full potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs, both in the classroom and during individual or small group sessions
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tailored learning plans and strategies for students
  • Help create a positive and engaging learning environment that supports each student's individual needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor and assess student progress
  • Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Provide encouragement and motivation to help students build confidence and achieve their academic goals

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
