About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a Process Chemist to advance their career in a dynamic laboratory and factory environment. You will be joining a well-established, award-winning facility and working as part of a small Chemistry team on the late shift. Your role will involve assisting the Chemistry Laboratory Manager with the analysis, control, and maintenance of all wet processes and chemistry, as well as supporting the management of water and chemical waste treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control and troubleshoot all wet chemistry processes and analysis.
  • Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and processes
  • Maintain machinery and equipment according to the maintenance schedule
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for water and chemical waste treatment controls
  • Utilise both paper and electronic documentation control systems

Qualifications Required:

  • A degree in Chemistry (or related science with chemical principles) or equivalent experience is preferred working in industry, ideally 12 months working in a lab/plant environment.
