RotheramCarrington Financial Recruitment is recruiting for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant job based Nr Crewe, offering hybrid working. This is a well-established SME Company who have grown their turnover to c£50m over the past 3 years, and continue to grow. This is a great business with a lovely culture. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Full production of monthly management accounts, including reporting packs cash allocations, reconciliations, journals (e.g. prepayments, accruals, payroll), fixed asset accounting, to P&L and commentary
  • Extracting and analysing data to identify trends, challenge costs and processes, target areas for improvement
  • Ensure that all other internal and external financial reporting requirements are met accurately and in a timely manner
  • Supporting the commercial team in tendering activities relating to finance
  • Support/cover for other roles within the Finance Team where required (e.g. Payroll, Purchase Ledger, Credit Control)
  • Preparation of statutory accounts and facilitating external financial audit as part of this process
  • Ensuring all external reporting requirements are met with the likes of HMRC, Companies House, Valuation Office etc
  • Ad hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager and Director of FP&A

Experience/Qualifications

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified Management Accountant
  • Proven experience in a 'HandsOn' Management Accounting job for an SME organisation
  • Competent using Advanced Excel, working on tenders, and producing insightful management information for the business to make more informed business decisions
  • Strong communication skills, working with non-finance stakeholders across the wider business to support the commercial team in tendering activities relating to finance
  • Good understanding of statutory accounts, and liaising with auditors

Whats on Offer
