Project Accountant

£200 to £250 per hour temporary

Manchester (Hybrid)

Project Accountant opportunity with a NHS client for a six-month temporary assignment. This is an interesting opportunity for a Project Accountant with recent NHS experience to use their existing skill set to add value.

Project Accountant, working closely with the Head of Management Accounts you will use your existing financial management skill set to support with the task of creating a new Internal Reporting focused role from the existing team:

Key responsibilities of the Project Accountant

  • Pull existing "Internal reporting" duties out of the structure to create a new role
  • Liaising with the financial management team
  • Reviewing the monthly position
  • Producing monthly reports
  • Establishing systems and processes to be handed over

Required skills and experience of the Project Accountant

  • NHS experience or relevant Public Sector experience
  • Financial management and internal reporting experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of delivering on a project related role
