Overview

We are seeking a Car Configurator Specialist to support the management and optimisation of a high-profile automotive Car Configurator platform across both Public and Retailer-facing applications. This role plays a key part in ensuring product data, logic, and visual assets are accurately represented, directly supporting revenue-driving initiatives such as new model launches and yearly updates.

The successful Car Configurator Specialist will combine a keen eye for detail with strong technical and creative skills, and bring experience with configuration systems, marketing platforms, and digital tools including Adobe Experience Manager and Photoshop.

Key Responsibilities

New Product Launches & Model Year Updates

  • Author and manage product information, data logic, and assets across Public and Retailer configurator platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal Product Marketing, Pricing, and Vehicle Configuration teams to interpret and represent data correctly.
  • Resolve logic issues and ensure smooth product presentation.
  • Align with the Visual Media team to confirm the accuracy of visual assets.

Platform Development

  • Support the Product Owner in enhancing functionality and user experience across the platform.

Ongoing Platform Support

  • Act as the day-to-day liaison for updates and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with third-party suppliers to manage bugs and maintain platform reliability.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Produce web analytics reports using tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Generate insights into platform effectiveness, usage trends, and customer engagement.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in the automotive, luxury brand, or related agency environments.
  • Background working with Product Marketing teams and product description systems.
  • Experience using configuration tools and working with configuration data.
  • Competent in purchase order handling and general budget tracking.
  • Creative capability with experience using Adobe Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager or similar CMS platforms.
  • Experience delivering reports and insights using web analytics tools.
