Temporary Sous Chef - Goostrey - £20.00 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Temporary Sous Chef to join our client a leading education provider in Goostrey. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual looking for a rewarding role in a supportive environment.
About the Role:
As Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen and the delivery of high-quality meals to students and staff. You will support the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation, service, and kitchen management.
You must hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Child Barring List.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning and development.
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a high standard.
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety regulations.
- Managing stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Supervising and training junior kitchen staff.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
- Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Excellent culinary skills and a passion for food.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Working Hours:
- Monday and Tuesday, 8:30 am - 1:30 pm.
- Ongoing assignment.
Pay Rate:
- £20.00 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay).
