GTS Transportation, a leading recruitment agency, is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our client, a major player in the logistics industry. 

About the Role:

This dynamic role involves overseeing large-scale NEC4 infrastructure projects within the rail sector, including high-profile projects such as HS2. As the Project Manager, you will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of key infrastructure solutions. You’ll take full responsibility for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution of complex NEC4 infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Oversee the introduction of new products and solutions, ensuring quality standards are consistently met
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project success
  • Ensure effective risk, cost, and change management throughout project lifecycles
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, utilising project management best practices
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Professional Project Management qualification (PMI, APM)
  • Proven experience managing NEC contracts in the rail or a similar regulated industry
  • Strong understanding of project management tools, stakeholder engagement, and risk management
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Knowledge of the rail sector is highly desirable
