Job Title: Temporary Credit Controller

Job Type: Temporary (Monday to Thursday)
Hourly Rate: £13-£14 per hour
About the Role: We are seeking a diligent and experienced Temporary Credit Controller to join a team based in Crewe. This role is to cover sickness and will require you to work from Monday to Thursday. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit control and be able to manage accounts receivable efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letters.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on outstanding debts.
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve any billing issues.
- Assist with month-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of credit control procedures and practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in IT systems and accounting software.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
