Teaching Assistant needed for Crewe Secondary School!

Reed Education Cheshire are currently working with a great school on an exciting new role in the Crewe area. Starting as soon as possible, the school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join them on an ongoing basis for 5 days per week.

The School:

• A bustling and popular school offering education from age 11 - 18.

• A school which takes pride in combining academic development with pastoral and moral development in all of their students.

• Part of a large cluster of local schools, which offer a support network to staff throughout the school

The Role:

• Working on a full time basis 5 days per week

• Responsible for engaging SEN learners within class and on a 1-2-1 basis, this post requires a teaching assistant accustomed to the different needs within a mainstream school.

• Working alongside the teachers to gain and break down work to make it accessible for students, and offering additional support as required.

• Excellent opportunity with long term potential for the right person.

What you will need:

• Experience within a secondary school or SEN environment is ideal.

• A relevant qualification, such as a Level 3 in Teaching and Learning or an SEN related course.
