F&R are looking for dedicated individual looking to take on a trainee assistant role for a new build housing client.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The role is based in Crewe and will require you to have a UK driving license and vehicle.

As a trainee assistant manager, you will collaborate closely with the site team to assist with remedial lists, CMLS, handovers and the over all management of trades and subcontractors. My client, a prestigious 5-star house builder with developments throughout the northwest, is now seeking a dedicated individual eager to begin a career in site management.

Key Tasks

  • * To undertake a range of tasks suited to the current level of training and development.
  • * To keep all work portfolios, logbooks and task records up to date and available for inspection at any time.
  • * To take on additional responsibilities in year 2 of employment
  • To understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
  • * To understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • * To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
  • * To comply with all health & safety policies, procedures and instructions.
  • * To attend and fully participate in training reviews with company officials and/or third-party training provider officials as and when required.

Essential Attributes

  • Work in a trade or a university graduate
  • Interest in practical tasks and the construction industry in general.
  • Keen to learn and develop technically and professionally.
  • Excellent timekeeping, punctuality and attendance.
  • Aspiration to become a qualified tradesperson/manager.
  • Good communicator and team player.
  • Humble and willing to listen and learn from others.
  • Initially flexible in terms of being able to move around different sites in the Northwest of England with an aspiration to drive and own a vehicle.
  • Embrace any opportunity to attend any role/industry specific training, provided by the business, and maintain up to date relevant knowledge of the industry.
