We are currently looking for an HR Officer with key experience with payand rewardfor an initial 3 month contract based in Cheshire.

24-25 per hour (inside IR35 via an umbrella company)

3 months, extendable

Hybrid (Crewe)

Skills/Experience Required:

  • CIPD (MCIPD)
  • Experience working within Local Government/Council environments
  • Pay and Reward Administration:
  • Manageannual pay review process, including national salary increases and drafting of the pay policy statement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of information for payroll colleagues.
  • Monitor and analyse pay and reward data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Experience of working inan HR setting providingadvice and guidanceacross a range of HRactivities
  • Underpinning knowledgeof HR policies, proceduresand processes and relatedprofessional practices,employment law, case law,organisational designprinciples, localgovernment conditions ofservice and pensions,ACAS standards etc
  • HR legislation HR regulations and rules
  • Detailed knowledge of thefull range of HR policiesand procedures, includingdiscipline, grievance,capability etc.
  • Ability to attendhearings/panels andappeals as professionalrepresentative
