Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of IT solutions? Bentley Motors are a forward-thinking organisation in the Information Technology sector, they are on the lookout for a talented and driven Solution Architect to join their dynamic team!
Role: Solution Architect (Finance & Legal)
Duration: To end of September 2025 extension options
Location: Crewe (3 days in the office)
Rate: £650 per day (Outside ir35)
As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing IT solution architecture strategies that align with business goals. Your expertise will be crucial in driving projects forward, ensuring that technology solutions are not only innovative but also compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Charge: Spearhead the development of new products, services, or solutions to meet project demands where existing systems fall short.
- Blueprint Creation: Develop high/mid-level solution blueprints that support seamless project implementation.
- Maximise Reusability: Champion the reuse of existing solutions, minimising technical complexity across the IT landscape.
- Architecture Oversight: Co-chair the Architecture Review boards, ensuring adherence to architectural processes and standards.
- Documentation Mastery: Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and ensure compliance with IT delivery processes.
- Portfolio Management: Collaborate with IT Product Managers to define and manage the IT portfolio for specific process areas.
- Robust Proposals: Ensure solution proposals are achievable within project timelines while meeting customer expectations.
- Cost & Risk Analysis: Provide vital cost and risk information to Project Managers to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with Enterprise Architects, Project Managers, and Technical Product Managers to agree on architectural solutions.
What We're Looking For:
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of financial and legal systems, with a proven track record in highly technical environments.
- Integration Skills: Experience in integrating new solutions into existing architectures while adhering to tight project deadlines.
- Forward-Thinking: A strong understanding of current and future IT trends, particularly in technology solutions development.
- Design Coordination: Ability to design, coordinate, and integrate IT products to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Documentation Proficiency: Experience in generating and maintaining architectural documentation, including the use of Configuration Management Databases.
