Duration: Until 30/06/2025 - covering Sickness

Are you an experienced Senior Supplier Quality Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation in Crewe? Adecco working in partnership with Bentley Motors, a global automotive company, is seeking a talented individual to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the delivery of top-quality parts from suppliers, driving quality improvements, and supporting complex Supplier Quality issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Parts Quality planning tools in line with project targets, including lessons learned, risk assessments, and reporting of QTR activities.
  • Conduct approval process, Meisterbock process, and problem management with supply base.
  • Achieve Quality targets on pre-series and series vehicles, driving actions and identifying risks.
  • Drive supplier improvement initiatives, monitor supplier performance measures, and support the supplier nomination process.
  • Deputise for the Supplier Quality Manager when required, providing support in key deliverables and operational activities.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience and knowledge of Engineering across multiple commodities or as a specialist in one commodity.
  • Automotive supplier quality management experience, either at a supplier or OEM, deemed an expert.
  • Demonstrable track record of managing systems and processes to mature parts and resolve technical problems.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally at board level.
  • Ability to motivate and influence others, including senior management and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of quality techniques and tools such as statistical process control, process capability, and APQP.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or HNC/HND with extensive relevant experience.
