Adecco working in Partnership with Bentley Motors, a leading automotive company, are recruiting for a Certification engineer on a temporary basis. As a Certification Engineer you will play a vital role in the enhancement of their data collection process. As part of their R&D department, you will be responsible for creating function-focused data catalogues, coordinating with R&D teams, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of certification data.

Hourly Rate up to: £32.35

Outside IR35

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain folder structure in the DMS (Document Management System)
  • Develop function-focused data catalogues and populate them with existing certification data
  • Review data catalogues to eliminate any duplicate requests
  • Coordinate with R&D teams to gain agreement and deliver identified data items
  • Facilitate communication and engagement with R&D teams throughout the data collection process
  • Monitor data collection population and report weekly KPIs to management
  • Organise online support meetings for R&D teams to seek guidance or ask questions
  • Administer data catalogue review and sign-off sessions with relevant stakeholders
  • Manage changes requested post catalogue review and ensure transparent communication

For the upcoming model years, you will continue to build on the existing catalogues, engage with R&D teams, monitor data collection, and facilitate review and sign-off sessions. Additionally, you will be involved in general tasks such as DMS administration, updating data catalogues, developing process documentation, and acting as a key contact for certification data queries.

Qualifications:

  • Powertrain Certification Know How (ET/A Support)
  • Safety and Whole Vehicle Certification Know How (ET/G Support)
  • Knowledge of DMS
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team
