Payroll Administrator

  • £13.00 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative and organisational services, predominantly related to Payroll, for this organisation. This role is crucial in managing payroll and pension administration, administering contracts of employment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Process and confirm Monthly Payroll Returns.
  • Manage pension administration, responding to requests from funds in a timely manner.
  • Administer new contracts of employment for new starters and changes of contract for existing employees.
  • Implement safer recruitment procedures throughout all recruitment processes into the Trust.
  • Work under the direction of the Director of People to ensure compliance related to payroll, such as automatic enrolment and annual returns.
  • Support the wider team with administrative tasks and school business support review as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in Payroll administration.
  • Knowledge of pension administration and employment contract management.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements related to payroll.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Understanding of GDPR and DPA policies and procedures.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
