Responsibilities:

  • Deliver parts quality planning tools in line with business targets, including risk assessments and reporting of QTR activities.
  • Conduct part maturation, approval, and capacity analysis, ensuring effective problem management with the supply base.
  • Drive actions to achieve quality targets on pre-series and series vehicles, identifying and escalating risks as necessary.
  • Monitor supplier performance measures, drive improvement initiatives, and solve problems using recognised techniques.
  • Provide support to the Supplier Quality Manager, assisting with key deliverables and operational activities.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience and knowledge of engineering across multiple commodities or as a specialist in one.
  • Demonstrable expertise in automotive supplier quality management.
  • Proven track record of quality planning and delivering QA standards.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate convincingly at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to motivate and influence others.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering field or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline with extensive relevant experience.
  • Associate membership of a relevant professional institution.
  • Valid driving licence.
