CAD/Project Coordinator

Crewe, Monday - Friday

£30,000 - £40,000 DOE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive CAD Designer/Project Coordinator to join our team. This role involves creating accurate technical drawings and ensuring smooth communication between clients, suppliers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD skills, project management experience, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD
  • Create and update parts lists and BOMs for projects
  • Ensure all designs meet industry standards, regulations, and client requirements
  • Maintain and organise technical documentation such as parts lists
  • Project Coordination
  • Oversee project timelines, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met
  • Assist in the procurement of materials at competitive prices
  • Provide quotations
  • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure project requirements are fulfilled
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure all purchased materials comply with mandatory regulations
  • Follow and enhance company procedures to improve efficiency

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D)
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and industry standards
  • Experience in project coordination
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
