Adecco working in partnership with Bentley Motors, a leader in the automotive sector, is seeking an Engineer with expertise in Connected Car services to join their team. As an Engineer - Connected Car, you will have the opportunity to work within the Electrical Engineering Division, specifically the Connected Car Department, to integrate, test, and deploy a range of exciting Connected Services in their vehicles.

Contract Type: Temporary

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, Hybrid, Crewe

Pay Type: Outside IR35 up to £37.32ph

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the introduction of new connected services for future vehicle projects, particularly within the Swarm, Navigation, and Infotainment categories.
  • Manage the integration, deployment, and initial testing of existing services during the development cycle of future ICE Model Year vehicle projects, solving technical issues that may arise.
  • Resolve technical issues related to existing services found during ICE vehicle model year development and field issues.
  • Support the integration, deployment, and initial testing of new model years of ICE vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the automotive industry, particularly in the area of connected services, is desirable.
  • Familiarity with automotive testing methods, processes, and diagnostic programmes.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to using specialist engineering facilities and equipment.
  • Strong experience in automotive electrical systems and back-end systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office.
  • Excellent planning, prioritisation, and communication skills.

Working Pattern:

  • Availability required 5 days per week, with flexibility within core hours.
  • Working on-site 3 days per week.

This is a temporary position, offering an hourly rate ranging from £25.77 to £37.32, with a contract length of 3 months - potential to be extended.
