This role is Supporting a Female in her own home who has autism non-communicative but can make her needs known he can display behaviours that challenge and signs of anxiety and distress and requires staff to support her with this. She is unaware of some risks and requires support to meet this need. She has a good sense of humour and very much enjoys water play, watching TV and walking. The young female will need support with maintaining her own home, promoting independence and supporting with aspects of her daily living.

Duties for this Senior Support Worker role?

Manage a core staff team of 10+ Support workers

Completing and overseeing monthly rotas

Monitoring staff compliance

Carrying out Supervisions, spot checks and Annual Appraisals

Carrying out and updating Risk assessments and Care Plan reviews

Liaising with CCG and other professionals and the office

Applicant requirements:

Senior Support Worker or Team Leader experience is essential

Transferable management skills in the care sector

Able to attend The Management of Actual or Potential Aggression (MAPA) training which is provided by Sugarman Health and Wellbeing

The enthusiasm to learn and experience new things

To be willing to embrace the goals he wants to achieve

Someone who will go above and beyond for the Service User and staff involved in the package

Able to work in the UK and can show documents
