SEN Teacher Science- Crewe- Full Time - Temp to Perm - September 2024

As an SEN Teacher, you'll be able to take a confident, calm and nurturing approach to encouraging the educational and personal development of students with specialist needs.

SEN Teacher | Job Summary

  • Salary: £160-£280 daily rate
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons adhering to the college's guidelines and external accrediting bodies' requirements.
  • Utilize teaching strategies specifically designed for students with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
  • Supervise and guide learning support workers, students, and volunteers during class.
  • Create differentiated lesson plans to meet curriculum requirements and individual student targets.
  • Monitor and report on students' progress, maintaining accurate records as per college procedures.
  • Compile and update students' work files, tracking progress towards learning outcomes.
  • Complete all necessary educational materials and documentation.
  • Ensure students' physical well-being, implementing appropriate therapies, and overseeing support provided by assistants.
  • Manage learning support assistants within your class team.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, celebrating each student's individual work.
  • Provide comprehensive academic, pastoral, and personal support for students, including acting as a personal tutor and overseeing lunchtime supervision.
  • Perform administrative tasks pertinent to teaching duties.
