SHEQ Co-ordinator


Our client are seeking a dedicated and experienced SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) Co-ordinator to support the implementation of a safety-first culture in our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with SHEQ regulations, conducting risk assessments, and investigating incidents and accidents. This role requires a strong understanding of safety practices and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities as SHEQ Co-ordinator

- Support the rollout of a safety-first culture throughout the business
- Organise safety meetings, campaigns, and awareness programs
- Identify opportunities to improve SHEQ practices and programs
- Assist in the rollout of guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Monitor SHEQ performance and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections
- Coordinate and conduct audits of facilities, equipment, and practices
- Investigate incidents and accidents and ensure accurate reporting and record-keeping

Qualifications as SHEQ Co-ordinator

- IOSH working safely certificate or equivalent
- Strong understanding of SHE regulations, standards, and practices
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible approach and thins beyond the norm
- Resourceful and determined
- Eager to learn new skills and develop
