The Role:

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced production shift manager who has experience of leading teams within a continuous process manufacturing environment. Your day to day duties will consist of leading a team to ensure targets are met, whilst ensuring safety and engagement are at the forefront of activities. 

  • Promoting Health & Safety in the workplace, displaying excellent personal safety and challenging others when unsafe behaviour is observed. Responsible for a team of process operators and man management required.
  • The role requires strong influencing and communication skills, with resilience and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels, fostering positive team working across all stakeholders.
  • This is a fast-paced role, where the ability to make decisions and question are key aspects, particularly to challenge the norm and support a back to basics plan for the department.
  • Delivering key objectives to ensure the company achieve their vision and brand values.

The Candidate

  • Production Shift Management/ Supervisory experience
  • From a manufacturing background
  • Worked within the food industry or FMCG ideal
  • Able to lead a team, hands on when required
  • Health and Safety awareness and understanding
  • Understanding of CI and Lean/Six Sigma (ideal)
