Warehouse Supervisor

Rise Recruitment Solutions are actively recruiting for a Warehouse Night Shift Supervisorto join theteam to work with one of our clients based in Crick, Northamptonshire responsible for cross-dock inbound/outbound.

Job Details:

• Monday - Friday
• Location: Crick
• Working Hours: 18:00 - 02:30
• Salary: 30,000per annum
• Overtime: Paid at time and half 21.55

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the management of shift activities, striving to meet departmental KPIs.
• Oversee the efficient packing, wrapping, and loading of orders onto vehicles.
• Facilitate effective communication among the team, focusing on operational performance and health & safety.
• Assist in resource planning to manage labour costs within budget.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance departmental and customer outcomes.
• Handle key administrative tasks to support daily business operations.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the team to achieve outstanding results.
• Administer warehouse operations, including TMS and Absence system management.
• Support employee relations in collaboration with HR and the Shift Manager, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Ensure all warehouse procedures and safety standards are taught and followed.
• Be cross-trained in main warehouse operations for additional support.

Loading and Wrapping:

• Ensure accurate loading of pallets onto designated vehicles.
• Use ratchet straps and load restraints appropriately.
• Verify proper vehicle usage and load distribution for safe transit.

General Warehouse Duties:

• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
• Operate MHE and scanners as trained.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven leadership and people management experience in a warehouse environment.
• Must have experience in cross-dock inbound/outbound
• Excellent communication and motivational skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Strong understanding of target-driven operations.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in IT tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, WMS, and TMS.
• Essential licenses: PPT and FLT.
