This role is responsible for the creation and maintenance of achievable delivery schedules that support the demand requirements for our products whilst ensuring availability and inventory levels remain within budgeted targets.

Description

  • Use MRP to balance demand and supply, creating a delivery plan that satisfies the demand requirements whilst keeping inventory within approved limits.
  • Reduce obsolescence and inventory holding to achieve company targets.
  • Ensure all orders are placed timely and accurately.
  • Expedite orders, maintain delivery dates, and ensure all documentation is provided by the suppliers.
  • Understand suppliers' payment terms and ensure invoices are paid accordingly.
  • Liaise with key functions across the business including Procurement, Finance, Sales, Logistics, and the NPD team

Profile

  • Degree educated (desirable).
  • Previous experience in forecasting, supply planning or stock management.
  • Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience on SAP/any other planning system.
  • Good analytical skills, attention to details and competent in using Excel.
  • Understanding of commodity codes, Inco terms, sea freight and container volumes (desirable).
  • Operate tactically and strategically when required.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiency.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Approachable and supportive with good influencing skills.
