The main function of this role will be to support the Head of Operations across a range of administrative duties and help ensure operational excellence. You will ideally have experience in a varied and engaging role, happy to take ownership of tasks and support a business in all areas. You won't have any direct reports but rather manage daily office operations; however if you have supervisory experience and would be open to such a role please do apply.

Our client is offering flexibility on hours as well as hybrid working to best suit your circumstances.

Due to this role being based in a rural location between West Haddon & Crick, access to your own transport is essential.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Part Time Office Manager include:

  • Day-to-day office tasks such as answering calls, managing & distributing mail, greeting visitors and setting up events/meetings.
  • Calendar management, preparing of meeting agendas & minutes, and arranging travel & accommodation.
  • Reporting and compliance checks for contractors.
  • Facilities management - ordering office supplies, waste management, lease agreements, equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with company accredited quality standards and managing renewals where necessary.
  • Various HR activities liaising with external HR to support with recruitment, onboarding, L&D, wellbeing and overall compliance and HR administration.
  • Manage third party suppliers to process background checks and security clearance as needed.
  • Support the payroll team and maintain accurate employee information and adhere to GDPR.
  • Organise team meetings and social events

Key experience and skills required for the Part Time Office Manager:

  • Previous experience in a varied administrative role, with the ability to take ownership and work autonomously.
  • A confident communicator with strong planning, time management and organisation skills.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy, and able to present management information & reports using raw data.
  • Strong IT proficiency with experience using Microsoft 365 and an aptitude for learning new systems & processes.
  • A professional approach and desire to provide excellent customer service.
  • Experience working in an HR environment, understanding of employee lifecycle, experience of facilities/fleet management, and involvement in accreditations/quality standards.
