We have a really lovely vacancy in Crowthorne for a Part time Accounts Assistant working for 15 hours per week over 2 days ( ideally one of these being a Thursday).
The main duties are:-
Responsible for monitoring account email address. Printing off any invoices/statements/invoices and responding to any account queries
Posting supplier invoices onto Sage Accounts
Checking supplier statements and file
Posting Client VAT invoices onto Sage Account
Paying suppliers
Checking the bank regularly to check funds and transactions. Advise when client payments have been received.
Paying sub-contractors on fortnightly wage runs. (Information posted onto Sage Accounts)
Running monthly Subcontractor CIS statements and sending them out.
Verifying new subcontractors on the HMRCCIS website and loading subcontractor Information onto our database.
Filing subcontractor insurances
Running Monthly CIS & Tax Returns to the HMRC
Quarterly VAT returns to HMRC
Using Sage Payroll for monthly staff salaries and Sage Accounts to run Journals
Posting onto Sage Accounts staff expenses and paying funds into their accounts
Bank reconciliations on Sage Accounts
Completing supplier account forms for credit account facilities
Sending out company insurances to clients
The role is Paying between £12,000 to £14,000 and is working for a friendly team.
