We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team at our newly refurbished residential care home in Crowthorne. Specialising in elderly and dementia care, our home provides a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment for our residents. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a professional and supportive team, delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance, ensuring residents' dignity and well-being.
  • Support residents with daily living activities, including dressing, mobility, and meals.
  • Assist in delivering specialist dementia care with a compassionate and individualised approach.
  • Promote social engagement and companionship to enhance residents' quality of life.
  • Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
  • Collaborate with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
Requirements:
  • A caring and empathetic nature, with a passion for elderly care.
  • Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • A professional and team-oriented attitude, with excellent communication skills.
  • NVQ qualifications in Health & Social Care are desirable but not required.
  • Flexibility to work day or night shifts, as required.
