Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a fantastic organisation in the insurance and travel sector. Our client - just a short commute from East Croydon - is looking for a detail-oriented GDPR Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.In this role, you will be responsible for handling data disclosures in line with GDPR requirements, ensuring compliance and safeguarding of personal data.Key Responsibilities of the GDPR Officer:

  • Manage and respond to DSARs within statutory timeframes
  • Review and redact personal data as necessary before disclosure
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather relevant information.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, Data Protection Act, and internal policies
  • Provide advice on data privacy rights and obligations
  • Maintain records of requests and responses for auditing purposes

Requirements:

  • Experience handling DSARs and a strong understanding of GDPR
  • Knowledge of data protection principles and legal frameworks
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in a compliance, legal, or data protection role is desirable
  • Immediate start
