Our client, a logistics business based in the City, is seeking a Financial Accountant for a 6-month fixed term contract with hybrid working arrangements.
The role requires a minimum of 4 years' experience in a finance department and involves preparing statutory accounts and handling audit queries.
Candidates should be qualified AAT, part-qualified, or studying for an ICAEW qualification, or qualified by experience.
The position offers a salary of £45,000 per annum, with responsibilities including intercompany accounting and payroll accounting.

Financial Accountant

Hybrid working

6 month FTC

Our client, a logistics business based in the City, are looking for a Financial Accountant for a 6 month fixed term contract. It will be hybrid working (3 days from home, 2 in office).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts

• Deal with audit queries

• Intercompany accounting

• Working with multiple entities.

• Meet tight deadlines by performing all tasks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.

• Payroll Accounting

• Pre-payments and accruals

• Provide supporting schedules for internal and external auditors.

• Maintain a working understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Key Requirements:

• Qualified AAT, part-qualified, or currently studying for an ICAEW (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) qualification, or qualified by experience.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a finance department.

• Experience working with multiple entities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
