NEC Training Systems Officer **

We are working in partnership with a Local Authority based in Croydon who are looking to appoint several NEC Training Systems Officers to work within the Housing Digital Systems Team.

Permanent position.

Working Hours - Full time positions (36 hours per week)

Location - CR0. (Hybrid working, 2 days a week)

Rate of Pay - £40,833 per annum.

Role Purpose:

  • Assists services to use their line of business applications effectively.
  • Prepares the course curriculum, agenda and training resources before delivering formal or informal training.
  • Develops training materials & online resources / videos and assists the services in mapping processes on a continuous basis.
  • Drives systems use and data compliance with established policies, procedures and standards.
  • Provides classroom based training or one-to-one coaching based on training needs and highlights further training requirements to the officer and / or their supervisor where necessary.
  • Reports regularly on training progress and coverage so that further sessions can be targeted.

Key Areas for Decision Making:

  • You will be required to help make decisions on how to interrogate data held within the NEC Housing system to deliver accurate and meaningful reports and analysis against complicated requirements and often urgent deadlines.
  • You will collaborate and advise relevant Service Managers and service users to understand and implement reporting and data changes to the NEC Housing application.
  • Proactively work with colleagues across services to ensure that the officers understand their daily tasks and processes and the interdependencies between service departments.

Experience:

  • Extensive experience of using NEC Housing and delivering training on all aspects of NEC Housing.
  • Experience of identifying data quality issues and assisting in implementing a data improvement plan in NEC Housing.
  • Experience of organising, scheduling and delivering classroom and virtual training to formal and informal groups. Planning training dates, venues and course content.
  • Experience of conducting training needs analysis, tailoring training and developing training plans.
  • In depth experience of using MS Teams to manage training plans and schedules and to report on completed training and outcomes.
