We are looking for a Systems Training Officer for our client in South London to head up the training in classroom and one on one settings on housing business processes.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Liaise with service users to ensure training is delivered supporting a consistent approach to day-to-day tasks
  • Train colleagues in the use of queries reports and dashboards for the production of statutory, financial, performance or data quality reporting
  • Participate in and support project work involving changes to systems, including user acceptance testing, user training and user engagement
  • Assist with aspects of the business relationship with the council's line of business system suppliers
  • Be aware of best practice among support community

Requirements and skills:

  • Knowledge of housing within a local authority to understand day-to-day and periodic processes and tasks routinely executed by housing departments
  • Expertise in developing training courses and supporting documentation such as self-help videos, training aids and user manuals
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience when facing contradicting priorities or demanding workloads
  • Excellent understanding of a range of NEC Housing modules
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and to use discretion in dealing with sensitive information
  • Confidence to present and deliver different types of training to stakeholders
  • In depth experience of using MS Teams to manage training plans and schedules and to report on completed training and outcomes
