An award winning manufacturing business are looking for anElectrical Engineerto join their friendly, busy service department and be responsible for therepair, servicing and testing of life-saving medical devices. This will involve youinvestigating issues with devices and repairing, beforetesting and checking electrical safetyandreturning them to clients,using toolsand instruments. You will also carry outscheduled maintenance on devicesandprovide technical supportto customers as well.
As anElectrical Engineeryour new role will involve:
- Repair, service, and overhaul ofmedical equipment
- Electrical testing of repaired devices
- Providing technical support to new and prospective customers by phone and e-mail
- Completing warranty job sheets with fault details, resolution and repair details, and parts list
- Installing and commissioning new, loan and repaired systems
- Investigating customer issues raised as per Quality SLAs
- Raising quotes on the system for work to be carried out
For this opportunity within a growing business, I am interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working as an Electrical Engineer,Service Technician, Repair Technician, Service Engineer, Electronics Technician, orTechnical Engineer,and who have used tools and instruments in an electronical technical role capacity. Salary for this role is 30,000 to 35,000 p.a. (depending on level of experience).
