We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to provide high-quality, proactive HR support to managers and staff for our client based in Croydon. This role involves delivering expert advice on employee relations matters, upskilling managers on HR policies, and fostering positive workplace relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, including sickness management, disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance management capability in handling HR processes.
  • Work closely with staff-side colleagues to ensure consistency in policy application.
  • Support formal hearings, investigations, and case management, ensuring fairness and compliance with employment law.
  • Contribute to job evaluation panels and policy development.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Health and Wellbeing teams to support staff effectively.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Experience in employee relations casework and advising managers.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
