Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? We are seeking a Temporary Employee Relations Advisor to provide expert guidance on employee relations and sickness absence management within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line advice on sickness absence, supporting managers through short- and long-term cases, including termination hearings.
  • Offer guidance on ill health retirement, redeployment, and Occupational Health processes.
  • Support managers in handling flexible working requests, probation management, and fixed-term contract reviews.
  • Advise on disciplinary, grievance, and capability cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and Trust policies.
  • Assist with investigations, hearings, and appeals, preparing reports and maintaining accurate case records.
  • Deliver training sessions to managers on key HR policies and employee relations matters.
  • Support HR projects, policy updates, and data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases, including sickness absence and disciplinary processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Previous experience in an HR advisory role, preferably within a large or complex organisation.
