Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a lead contact between our client's Housing Digital Systems team and service managers
  • Ensure the efficient and strategic utilisation of line of business applications to support business processes
  • Embrace agile methodologies and user-centred approaches to drive innovation and change
  • Oversee the relationship with the council's line of business system suppliers
  • Maintain a clear roadmap for the system, incorporating patches, upgrades, and improvements
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of requests, projects, and changes to line of business systems
  • Establish and maintain a network of key system users for each system
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines and vendors to ensure compliance and the improvement of usability and consistency
  • Develop and advocate service management best practises for the digital systems team

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of workflow-based ICT line of business systems, including system administration functions
  • Familiarity with national data and information frameworks as set out by government departments
  • Understanding of GDPR and role-based security needs for managing line of business systems
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Effective team management and leadership skills
  • Experience in delivering transformation and change within systems and processes
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in line of business systems management
