Sales Administrator - 6 months FTC 

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have a knack for sales support? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a great client of ours in the Croydon area.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Customers: Handle enquiries about our products, services, and order statuses.
  • Resolve Issues: Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain Records: Ensure customer information is accurate and up to date in our records.
  • Support Projects: Provide administrative support for new project quotations.
  • Coordinate Deliveries: Liaise with material control and manufacturing departments to ensure timely delivery promises.
  • Manage Orders: Book out service exchanges, repair transmissions, spring couplings, and spare part orders.
  • Track Orders: Maintain up-to-date records on outstanding transmissions with customers.
  • Process Sales Orders: Ensure timely processing and tracking of sales orders to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Support Warranty Claims: Collaborate with team members and the service team to manage warranty claims.
  • Order Parts: Handle back-to-back ordering for parts from Germany and liaise with them for urgent orders.
  • Assist in Projects: Contribute to other company projects or tasks as needed.

Professional Experience & Education:

  • Background in technical mechanical sales administration.
  • Direct customer interaction experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Package Details:

  • Contract Type: Fixed Term, full-time.
  • Working Hours: 5-day week, Mon – Thur 08:30-16:30, Fri 08:30 – 15:30 (36.5-hour working week).
  • Salary: £30k - £35k (dependent on experience).
  • Bonus: Annual Bonus (pro rata on year of joining).
  • Holidays: 25 days holiday (pro rata).
  • Pension: 3% EE and 6% ER.
