Join this fantastic FE College, where our dedicated staff are committed to achieving the best outcomes for our students. We are currently seeking a Curriculum Team Manager to lead our Hair & Beauty, Hospitality, and Public Services and Sports curriculum areas. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality learning experiences and supporting student achievement and progression.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Manage and lead the curriculum team to ensure excellent teaching, learning, assessment, and student support.
  • Collaborate with other Curriculum Team Managers for coherent programme planning and implementation.
  • Act as the lead internal verifier, ensuring compliance with national and awarding body requirements.
  • Manage the operational aspects of the college salon and restaurant, ensuring a high-quality practical learning environment.
  • Lead on assessment strategies, ensuring they reflect best practices and meet awarding body requirements.
  • Set and achieve challenging targets for recruitment, retention, and financial contribution.
  • Promote effective use of e-learning tools and platforms to monitor student progress and achievement.
  • Coordinate and lead curriculum team meetings and ensure effective communication within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Teaching Qualification and a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Level 3 Qualification in one or more curriculum areas such as Hairdressing, Barbering, Beauty, Hospitality, Catering, Sports, or Public Services.
  • Extensive teaching experience and knowledge in the relevant curriculum areas.
  • Proven management experience and ability to develop and manage staff.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills.
