We are currently seeking a Curriculum Team Manager to lead our Hair & Beauty, Hospitality, and Public Services and Sports curriculum areas. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality learning experiences and supporting student achievement and progression.
Day-to-Day of the Role:- Manage and lead the curriculum team to ensure excellent teaching, learning, assessment, and student support.
- Collaborate with other Curriculum Team Managers for coherent programme planning and implementation.
- Act as the lead internal verifier, ensuring compliance with national and awarding body requirements.
- Manage the operational aspects of the college salon and restaurant, ensuring a high-quality practical learning environment.
- Lead on assessment strategies, ensuring they reflect best practices and meet awarding body requirements.
- Set and achieve challenging targets for recruitment, retention, and financial contribution.
- Promote effective use of e-learning tools and platforms to monitor student progress and achievement.
- Coordinate and lead curriculum team meetings and ensure effective communication within the team.
- Teaching Qualification and a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Level 3 Qualification in one or more curriculum areas such as Hairdressing, Barbering, Beauty, Hospitality, Catering, Sports, or Public Services.
- Extensive teaching experience and knowledge in the relevant curriculum areas.
- Proven management experience and ability to develop and manage staff.
- Strong organisational and IT skills.
