Future Education are recruiting for an outstanding teacher of Sociology and Social Sciences for an outstanding co-educational school based in Croydon. The role is due to start in April 2025 and is initially a year long contract.
A successful candidate will be a QTS qualified teacher of Social Sciences who specialises in Sociology and can teach Sociology up to Key Stage 5 the school could also consider candidates without QTS but with relevant secondary experience teaching sociology. You will be working in a well-resourced department with the opportunity to organise relevant educational trips for your students. The school has state of the art facilities and learning material and thrives upon the success of its exam results year on year.
All applicants must have:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
- Outstanding teaching and learning skills
- The ability to teach Key Stage 5 Sociology
- A valid enhanced DBS
- Outstanding references
