Job Description: Teaching Assistant - Reception - Croydon
Academics are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to work at a fantastic Primary School in South Croydon. The role will involve supporting young learners in the Reception team as they embark on their educational journey, helping them develop basic skills and fostering a love of learning.
Duties Include: Teaching Assistant - Reception - Croydon
- Supporting individual students with reading, writing, and numeracy
- Helping create a safe and stimulating environment for young children
- Assisting with phonics and early literacy activities
- Supporting emotional and social development through play and structured activities
What We Are Looking For: Teaching Assistant - Reception - Croydon
- Experience working with children in an Early Years setting is ideal
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is preferred but not essential.
- A caring, patient, and creative approach to supporting young learners
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
