Alexander Lloyd are delighted to be partnering on an exclusive basis with a well-known organisation, on the recruitment of an Employee Relations Advisor.

You will be part of a team of 6 ER Advisors, reporting into the ER Manager and supporting stakeholders in a large/matrix organisation.

Duties:

  • Advising managers on all Employee Relations issues.
  • Providing timely advice and guidance to line managers on employment law/company policies and procedures.
  • Building strong working relationships with client groups and supporting business change projects and programs as required.
  • Assisting in the compilation of reports on HR/ER activity highlighting any areas of concern and working with the relevant member of the People & Culture team to implement measures / take appropriate action to address these concerns.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Previous ER experience is essential, preferably in a Unionised environment.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced or high-volume environment.
  • Knowledge of Employment Law, appropriate legislation and HR related policies.
  • Strong interpersonal/influencing skills, including excellent communication skills.
  • Strong decision making and analytical skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Resilient and able to work using own initiative.
  • Degree / CIPD qualification or equivalent job-related experience.
