Kenneth Brian Associates are excited to be recruiting for an excellent opportunity to join one of our valued clients based in Croydon as their HR Advisor.

Are you a proactive and experienced HR professional ready to hit the ground running? This dynamic role will see you managing a range of employee relations cases from start to finish while supporting the HR Manager with consultations as needed.

Please note: A driving license is essential for this role, as occasional travel to other sites may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of employee relations, including disciplinary issues, grievances, performance management, and absence management. You'll manage cases end-to-end, from investigations to advising managers and ensuring all processes are legally compliant.

  • Assist the HR Manager with consultations related to restructures, redundancies, TUPE (essential), and contract variations.

  • Provide guidance to ensure employee matters are handled effectively and in line with legal requirements, company contracts, and policies.

  • Oversee and support HR Administrators with tasks like new starter inductions, right-to-work checks, reference requests, and maintaining accurate electronic personnel files.

  • Keep key HR spreadsheets up to date, including recruitment, onboarding, and sickness trackers.

  • Draft letters, such as probation outcome letters, flexible working requests, and family-related communications.

To be successful:

  • At least 4 years in an HR Advisor role, with a strong background in managing employee relations from start to finish.
  • Experience supporting consultations for restructures, redundancies, TUPE (essential), and contract changes.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (preferred, but significant experience is essential).

  • Live locally to Croydon
