Role Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Family Solicitor to join our Croydon office. The successful candidate will manage a broad range of family law cases, offering expert legal advice and representation. You will handle cases related to divorce, child custody, domestic violence, financial settlements, and other areas of family law. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, client-focused, and highly skilled in navigating complex family law issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child custody and visitation, domestic violence, and prenuptial agreements.
- Represent clients in family court hearings, mediations, and settlements.
- Manage a caseload efficiently and maintain high standards of client care.
- Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, agreements, and court applications.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
- Keep clients informed throughout the case progression, ensuring they understand their rights and options.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals (e.g., counselors, mediators) to offer comprehensive support to clients.
- Stay current with changes in family law legislation and provide clients with proactive legal advice.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and case developments.
