Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a fantastic organisation in the insurance and travel sector. Our client - just a short commute from East Croydon - is looking for a detail-oriented GDPR Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling data disclosures in line with GDPR requirements, ensuring compliance and safeguarding of personal data.
Key Responsibilities of the GDPR Officer:
- Manage and respond to DSARs within statutory timeframes
- Review and redact personal data as necessary before disclosure
- Liaise with internal teams to gather relevant information.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, Data Protection Act, and internal policies
- Provide advice on data privacy rights and obligations
- Maintain records of requests and responses for auditing purposes
Requirements:
- Experience handling DSARs and a strong understanding of GDPR
- Knowledge of data protection principles and legal frameworks
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in a compliance, legal, or data protection role is desirable
- Immediate start
